Who the hell is this Yunus Barisik guy anyway?
According to my mom I’m handsome, smart and splendid.
The real truth is that I am a Fitness and Nutrition Consultant and I help guys and gals just like you look great naked.
I am also the man behind 5 Hour Fitness.
My primary mission with this blog is to empower you with the knowledge and step-by-step instructions that will allow you to get into the best shape of your life.
You need to know that I know what I’m talking about when it comes to building muscle and burning fat. It gives you peace of mind and allows you to focus on taking action.
The FREE information on this blog alone will allow you to create a strong, powerful, visually appealing, athletic body that your friends and colleagues will be jealous of.
If you really know what you’re talking about why are you giving all this information for free?
Let’s face it. Finding reliable and accurate fitness information can be confusing.
Countless scammers and cheaters prey on those of us who want to lose fat and gain muscle but don’t possess the knowledge of what works in real life.
These low-lifes take advantage of your struggles, laughing all the way to the bank.
For every useless pill, powder, cream or gadget being hyped up as the new “magic cure” for losing fat and “toning your muscles”, there are at least thousands of regular men and women who haven’t gotten any visible results by using them.
Knowing this, how could you possibly be able to decide whom you can trust and who is out there only to rob you out of your hard-earned cash?
There are too many people out there being misled and I want to save them time, money, frustration and unwanted health risks. I want to help them avoid the same mistakes that I made.
I’ve studied exercise, weight lifting, diet and nutrition more than anything else in my life.
In juniors, I played two different team sports on a very high national level.
Later on I ran marathons as a hobby.
These days I’m intrigued by the raw strength that powerlifters possess and my current training regimen revolves around lifting heavy objects… that and running sprints.
As you can see, training has and always will be a huge part of my life.
Even when I was studying for my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at the university, literally all my free time was spent studying and applying exercise science.
I first started training people as a hobby and quickly moved on to do it professionally.
When others were preparing for exams in the library, you could find me with my nose buried in an anatomy or nutrition book.
I even spent most of my time during lectures reading books and other materials from the world’s best trainers or watching powerlifting videos on Youtube in order to learn correct lifting form – my professors were boring me to tears so I figured I’d be better off spending that time learning something way more interesting and valuable than what they were teaching in class…
I don’t claim to have all the answers. In fact, anyone working in the fitness industry pretending that they know all there is to this wide topic is surely a liar.
Researchers come up with new findings on a daily basis. How could any fitness trainer or expert possibly be able to track all that vast amount of information?
All I can ask from you is that you browse this site with an open mind, implement the tips I give you into your own daily life and then decide for yourself if what I’m saying holds true.
Ok, I believe you Yunus. What is your training philosophy?
My training philosophy in five words is this:
Maximum results in minimum time.
With my clients as well as in my own training, we concentrate on the few basics that will produce the best results in the least amount of time possible.
Contrary to what the mainstream media tries to brainwash people into thinking, fitness is not rocket science.
Creating a strong and athletic body is actually ridiculously simple.
Follow the basics and you WILL get the results you’ve always wanted.
Please notice that I said “simple”, not “easy”.
There’s a huge difference.
“Easy” implies that you don’t have to put in the effort… that you can just lie on the couch doing nothing and still make progress.
This is exactly the opposite of how I live and what I preach.
On the other hand, “simple” implies that anyone can get results with my methods… yes, that means that YOU can too.
But only if you show the dedication, persistence and take right action on a consistent basis.
Uh-huh. . . And what are the nuts and bolts of leading a vital life and looking irresistible?
Here are some of the most basic ones:
- Lift heavy
- Sprint and jump
- Play
- Use advanced bodyweight movements
- Eat natural, unprocessed food
- Allot plenty of time for sleeping and relaxing
- Reduce unnecessary stress
- Concentrate on being productive, not “busy”
- Laugh more often
- Drink plenty of water
- Spend more time outside in the sun
- Remind yourself every day how fortunate you are to be able to follow your passions
- Don’t take things too seriously… have fun and enjoy life (I know it sounds cheesier than a double cheese pizza at Domino’s… but it’s true)
Thanks for taking a minute to get to know me, and I really look forward to getting to know YOU too.
